Well Done Dan and team!!
This was our first visit to The Plough, after trying to secure accomodation in Southwold to no avail we booked at the Plough Inn, Wangford.
On arrival we were greeted by Dan and checked in, we were shown to our room (room 1), which was huge, in good decorative order and very comfortable and clean, the Bath/Shower Room was also a good size, but needed a little maintenance to the wall tiles, plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower! In spite of its proximety to the A12 it is remarkably quiet,
I ‘m a fairly light sleeper, but had 2 nights of restful sleep.
After being disappointed with the food in the Kings Head, Southwold on the first night we decided to eat in at the plough, the Steak and Ale Pie is to die for, the best ive had anywhere! My wife had the Courgette and Lemon Rissoto and enjoyed that as much as I had the pie.
The staff are incredibly attentive, cheerful and friendly.
We had a thoughly enjoyable stay at The Plough and look forward to returning in the near future.

Great base for touring Southwold area
We had a great stay at the Plough, admittedly the accommodation was a bit of a “work in progress” but the room was very large and comfortable, the staff were very helpful, polite, and nothing was too much trouble. Any faults with the room were merely cosmetic, and noise from the A12 was low and did not cause any disturbance.
All in all a very pleasant break at a very reasonable price!
